Candidosis, chronic mucocutaneous (CMC): Inflammatory redness and yellowish keratotic plaques of the interdigital spaces in a 3-year-old boy with simultaneous, therapy-resistant candidosis of the oral mucosa.
Stevens-Johnson syndrome: acute, extensive, painful erosions of the red of the lips, the lip mucosa, the tongue and the gingiva in an 18-year-old woman.
Erythema exsudativum multiforme; acutely opened, extensive, painful erosions of the oral mucosa; infestation of the red of the lips with fine rhagades.
Vegetative pyoderma of the back of the foot in the case of a previously known, long-standing venous leg ulcer; smearily coated wound bed, blurred edges.
Pronounced livedo racemosa: Intermediate findings after 2 more years (period of clinical follow-up over a period of 8 years); few lesions with very painful central necroses.
Fistula, odontogenic. initially diffuse, later described redness as well as swelling, fluctuation, pain under pressure and spontaneous pain. several weeks later persistence of an inflammatory, slightly painful nodule which does not move on the underlying tissue and whose centre is surrounded by reddish granulation tissue. on pressure evacuation of serous fluid.
Lichen (ruber) planus ulcerosus: extensive infestation of the feet with verrucous and crusty deposits and therapy-resistant deep ulcers with rough edges.
Lichen planus erosivus mucosae. painful gingivitis existing for more than one year. altogether progressive course. chronic stationary, border-like, painful erythema and extensive erosions can be found
Toxic epidermal necrolysis. 2 weeks after taking Allopurinol in recurrent attacks of gout, itching and redness on the back for the first time, within a few days dramatic worsening of the general condition with several acute, flat, generalized, randomly distributed, sharply defined, red, weeping and painful erosions. Additional findings were multiple, acute, asymmetrically arranged, disseminated, skin-coloured blisters on a flat erythema on the remaining integument.
Ulcus cruris arteriosum: chronic, slowly progressive, painful, deep, sharp-edged ulcer located in the area of the lower leg clitoris, measuring approx. 5.5 x 3.5 cm. The periulcerous area is reddened and overheated. The patient suffers from a PAVK of the multi-level type and has been a heavy cigarette smoker for 30 years.
Lichen planus of the vulva: for months itching, burning and pain when urinating. 42-year-old female patient with extensive erosions, rhagades, veil-like white discoloration in the upper third of the large labia.
Zoster. 6 days of persistent segmental erosions, partly crusty, on the back of a 66-year-old, very obese female patient. The right axilla showed identical skin lesions.
Fistula, odontogenic. permanent, small opening in the lower jaw surrounded by reddish granulation tissue with initial pressure and spontaneous pain and subsequent perforation with diminution or disappearance of the symptoms.
