Tar obtained by dry distillation of the bark and twigs of the silver birch (mainly in Sweden, Finland, Russia).

Note! Contains 6% phenols (guaiacol, cresol, cresol, xylenol), has a carcinogenic and phototoxic effect!

5-10% in ointments and creams as well as in solutions and shaking mixtures.
