Amöbiasis. Entamoeba histolytica-Zyste, mikroskopischer Nachweis im Stuhl: die Unterscheidung zwischen E. histolytica und E. dispar ist mikrospisch anhand der Zysten nicht möglich. Die Zysten enthalten bis zu 4 Kerne und sind größer als 10 µm (kleiner als 10 µm oder 8 Kerne sprechen für apathogene Amöbenspecies wie E. hartmanni).
