anetodermia. disseminated, 0.3-1.0 cm large, whitish, roundish to oval, completely symptomless "scar-like" foci with atrophically curled skin. in places the HVs also bulge over the skin surface. the HVs have existed for several years and were subjectively perceived as disturbing.
Lichen sclerosus et atrophicus. hourglass phenomenon with classic whitish-porcelain-like skin on perigenital region, labia and in a smaller extent also in the area of the perianal region in a 7-year-old girl. for several weeks genital itching has been present occasionally. the labia have already elapsed in the lower parts. currently no rhagades are visible. long patient career despite childhood age.
scléroderma en coup de sabre: for years increasing symptomless furrow formation in the middle of the forehead. condition 7 years later. increasing furrowing of skin and skull bone.
lipoatrophy, localized after glucocorticosteroid injections. general view: 2.5 x 3.0 cm large, circular area with whitish atrophy of the skin and telangiectasia. significant loss of substance of subcutis and fatty tissue. the skin changes developed in the course of the last two years, after a single steroid injection into the left knee due to knee pain.
Atrophie blanche. reflected light microscopy (section of a lesion on the lower leg): Atrophic-diluted, transparent epidermis with subepidermal, meander-like tangled vascular convolutes and blood leaks of different ages; whitish opaque, unstructured skin areas (fibrotic connective tissue) are also visible.
lipoatrophy, localized after glucocorticosteroid injections. general view: 2.5 x 3.0 cm large, circular area with whitish atrophy of the skin and telangiectasia. clear loss of substance of subcutis and fatty tissue. distal of the atrophy a slight swelling in the sense of a lymphatic congestion is visible. the skin changes developed in the course of the last two years, after a single steroid injection into the left knee because of knee problems.
Porphyria cutanea tarda: Pronounced scarring in the area of the forearms and back of the hand in a patient on dialysis (for years extremely light skin vulnerability).
Striae cutis distensae, initially blue-reddish (Striae rubrae), later whitish, differently long and wide, jagged, parallel or diverging atrophic stripes with slightly sunken and thinned, transversely folded, smooth skin.
lipoatrophy. typical "bra-wearer" lipoatrophy. this band-like lipoatrophy is caused by tightly fitting bra straps and is to be interpreted as pressure atrophy. the duration of these depressions in the patient's shoulder area is unknown. no complaints. the overlying skin is unaffected.
