Benzyl nicotinate: toxic reaction after application of the cosmetic product "Lip Injection" on the back of the hand; redness and swelling of the back of the hand extending far beyond the application site.
Erythema exsudativum multiforme. chronic dynamic erosive gingivitis with reactive squamous epithelial hyperplasia and partially superficial mucous membrane erosions in a 66-year-old female patient with histologically confirmed lichen planus mucosae. severe pain during oral hygiene and close-up. all regions of the oral cavity are affected.
Acrodermatitis continua suppurativa. severe mutating, chronic pustular dermatitis with complete destruction of the nail organ of the left big toe. the anamnesis could be traced back over several years. episodic course with longer phases of low disease activity.
lupus erythematosus, subacute-cutaneous: clinical picture that has existed for several years, varying in severity and progressing in phases; no significant feeling of illness; ANA+, anti-Ro Ak+, no dsDNA-Ak.
Dermatitis contact allergic: Itchy, clearly raised, reddened plaque at the application site of a henna tattoo (cat's head) made 10 days ago in a 48-year-old female patient.
Atopic eyelid dermatitis: atopic eyelid dermatitis in a 62-year-old man, with distinct periorbital redness, blepharitis, swelling and injection of the conjunctiva. Double row of eyelashes (distichiasis). The lower third of the pupil shows a veil-like opacity (pterygium conjunctivae) possibly as a consequence of constant rubbing of the eyelashes.
Folliculitis barbae: Chronic therapy-resistant, inflammatory follicular papules and pustules in the area of the cheeks; Staphylococcus aureus could be obtained from pustular material several times.
Keratoakanthoma, classic type: hard, reddish, central keratotic lump, measuring about 2.0 cm in diameter, grown within a few weeks DD: squamous cell carcinoma.
Leishmaniasis, cutaneous: approx. 1.2 x 1.4 cm large, blurred, fine-lamellar scaling, flatly elevated, symptomless, slightly consistency-multiplied red plaque; the family last visited Morocco 12 weeks ago.
Lymphoma, cutaneous B-cell lymphoma. Rapidly growing, large, brownish-reddish, painless lump with a smooth surface. In several places "still" hairs grow through the tumour masses.
