Syphilis: papular syphilide of the palms. loosely distributed reddish-brownish, scaly, symptomless papules on both palms. these changes are a section of a generalized papular exanthema.

eczema atopic (overview): chronic atopic hand eczema. extensive redness of the entire palm. the circled areas show a normal relief of the inguinal skin. non-circled eczematous areas with clear hyperlinearity. in the rectangle lichenified eczematous areas of the field skin.

Pemphigoid, bullous. 1 year old, itchy blisters on the left hand of an 82-year-old woman, filled with a yellowish liquid. Some of the blisters have been scratched open by the patient. Overall progressive skin findings, similar efflorescences on upper arms, back and feet.

Hand dermatitis: chronic, dyshidrotic dermatitis of the hand; coarse lamellar desquamation of the palm after an acute flare of the dermatitis has subsided.

Dyshidrotic dermatitis:  skin changes affecting both palms, chronic recurrent, partly vesicular, partly flat erosive, partly hyperkeratotic skin changes with formation of coarse lamellar scales and rhagades.

Dermatitis, dyshidrotic: dense, partly solitary, partly confluent vesicles and pustules (edge of the hand); 0.1-0.2 cm large disseminated brown, hardly raised papules and plaques with and without adherent scaling in the middle of the hand; itching and slight pain.

Dyskeratosis follicularis: Infestation of the palms of the hands; in central areas of the palm flat, common keratoses, at the ball of the thumb about 0.1-0.2 cm large, glassy papules.

Lichen planus classic type: unusual infestation of the palms with itchy, red, in places confluent, smooth, shiny papules and plaques.

Psoriasis vulgaris: Palmo-plantar psoriasis with pustular formation and numerous dyshidrotic blisters.

psoriasis palmaris et plantaris (plaquet type): palmo-plantar psoriasis known for years. no pre-treatment. extensive, sharply limited erythema. circumscribed partly stripy hyperkeratotic plaques. single deep rhagades.
