Porphyria cutana tarda: discrete finding with which the disease initially presents itself. after banal traumas subclinical blisters develop. here residuals with erosions and shallow ulcerations

Dermatitis solaris. detailed view: formation of acute, disseminated blisters on a surface redness, partly already healing under crusts. highly sensitive to touch (2nd degree burn). at the same time also fever and sensation of heat.

Zoster ophthalmicus: since 6 days increasing, left-sided headache with accompanying feeling of illness. since 3 days redness and swelling of the skin with stabbing, shooting pain. extensive erythema, blisters, scaly crusts and swelling

Eczema, dyshidrotic: chronically recurrent, slightly infiltrated plaques on the right foot of a 43-year-old man. Furthermore, reddish-brown, partly encrusted, punctiform, older erosions appear in places where water clear vesicles were previously present. Occasionally pinhead-sized, bulging water clear vesicles as well as fine-lamellar scaly deposits. Similar skin lesions are also present on both plantae and the edges of the toes.

porphyria cutanea tarda. shown here is a detailed picture of the hand with an overall generalized, chronically dynamic infection on the integument of a 55-year-old man. on the right hand, hemorrhagic blisters appear a few hours old next to older, crusty erosions and flat atrophic, somewhat depigmented scars. the blisters appear after banal everyday traumas. the blistering is combined with hyperpigmentation in the face and neck (melanodermic porphyria brugsch) and hypertrichosis lanuginosa of the zygomatic arch.

Vasculitis, leukocytoclastic (non-IgA-associated). large hemorrhagic blisters on bled erythema on the lower leg, interspersed with petechiae.

Erythema multiforme: 35-year-old patient with acutely occurring, itchy exanthema, which has been present for a few days. 0.2-0.7 cm tall, sharply defined, firm, red, smooth papules and plaques with partly cocard-like aspect and central blistering.

Varicella: Detail of a vesicular exanthema which has existed for two days. Here are two tight vesicles with an erythematous border. The content of the vesicle shown on the right side of the picture is already clouding (transition to a pustule).

Linear IgA dermatosis: urticarial plaques with staggered vesicle and bladder formations.

erythema multiforme: detailed picture: suddenly appeared, for 4 days existing, itchy, disseminated exanthema with cocard-like plaques. the skin changes appeared shortly after the beginning of antibiotic therapy for urinary tract infection. here the finding on the back of the hand. s. isomorphism (koebner phenomenon).

Lymphangioma circumscriptum, dense, bulging vesicles, findings unchanged for years, occasionally weeping due to bursting vesicles.

hand-foot-mouth disease: since about1 week, painful, blisters, pustules and papules on hands and feet. single aphthous lesions on palate and lip mucosa. about 2 weeks before, unspecific flu-like prodromas.

Dermatitis herpetiformis. disseminated, mostly eroded papules (vesicles not detectable here!) on the elbow and the extensor side of the forearm. recurrent course for months with tormenting, prickly itching.

Erysipelas bullöses: extensive, sharply defined, painful redness and plaque formation in the area of the lower leg. entrance portal: macerated tinea pedum. secondary findings include fever and chills, lymphangitis and lymphadenitis.

hand-foot-mouth disease. few, acute, disseminated, painful, intermittently shooting, polygonal vesicles with red edges. unspecific prodromies (fever, headache, rhinitis, gastrointestinal symptoms) lasting about 2 weeks before.
