Photosoletherapy

Combination treatment of salt water bath (up to 15%) with subsequent UVB irradiation. This form of therapy is mainly used for psoriasis vulgaris and atopic eczema. Approval as an outpatient therapy procedure at the expense of the GKV exists in the context of balneophototherapy for moderately severe to severe psoriasis vulgaris with a PASI score > 10 and since October 2020, but only as photosole therapy, for patients with moderately severe to severe atopic eczema.
