Low level laser therapy

Therapy method originally from alternative medicine and venterinary medicine with monochromatic and coherent light in the infrared spectral range. In the meantime, studies on the success of this therapy in various areas of medicine and dentistry are accumulating.

This therapy is used for laser acupuncture for the relief of pain, furthermore for inflammations and for the acceleration of wound healing. Current studies indicate a stimulation of hair growth in case of alopecia androgenetica , also successes in the therapy of macular degeneration or for the stimulation of the formation of thrombocytes in case of thrombocytopenia or pain relief in case of polyarthritis are reported.

Used with photosenitiser in dentistry for periodontosis and in dermatology for the therapy of onychomycosis (toluidine blue, resp. PACT® NagelpilzGel), s.a. PACT .
