Krause Walter

(¤ 23.12.1939, † 8.12.2019) German dermatologist with a scientific focus on dermatological andrology. Walter Krause was born in Halberstadt, graduated from high school in Hanover. Studied medicine in Göttingen and Giessen. From 1967-1971 further dermatological training at the Gießen Dermatology Clinic. Habilitation with Meyerhöfer in Giessen. 1979 Appointment as associate professor. 1984 - appointed to a C3 professorship for andrology at the Philipps University in Marburg. Walter Krause was a board member of the German STD Society and Chairman of the Reproductive Immunology Working Group of the German Society for Immunology.
