(¤ 1870, † 1942) Dermatologist. Viktor Felix Klingmüller was born in 1870 in Woiselwitz-Strehlen (Silesia). In Strehlen he attended grammar school; in 1889 he graduated from high school. Studied medicine in Breslau and Halle. 1894 licence to practise medicine. 1897-1906 internist assistant in Halle; later dermatological assistant in Breslau with A. Neisser. 1902 appointment as senior physician. 1902 habilitation on the subject of "Pathology of maculo-anaesthetica leprosy". 1905-1906 acting head of the Breslau Dermatological Clinic, as A. Neisser made a "Javanese trip" that year with syphilis experiments on monkeys. 1906, as successor of Ernst v. Düring, call to the Dermatological Clinic Kiel. In 1919 he was appointed full professor of his subject. 1935 emeritus professor. His successor was Josef Vonkennel. Klingmüller died on 1.5. 1942 in Kiel.
