Small, fluid-filled cavity (content: clear, serous, hemorrhagic) with a diameter < 1.0 cm.

Examples of skin diseases that are or can be characterized by the formation of blisters:

• herpes simplex
• Dyshidrosis
• acute eczema
• Varicella
• Smallpox
• cristalline miliaria
• Zoster
• dermatitis herpetiformis
• strophulus bullosus
• Insect bites
• Dyshidrotic form of psoriasis
• Impetigo.
