Ppg-35/ppg-51 glyceryl ether/ipdi crosspolymer (inci)

PPG- 35 is the acronym for 'polypropylene glycol', the polymer of propylene glycol (1,2-propanediol), a dihydric alcohol. The number after "PPG" indicates the average number of propylene glycol molecular units, for "PPG-35" this is 35, for PPG-51 propylene glycol molecular units. IPDI refers to the substance isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI). Crosspolymers are cross-linked polymers (or copolymers) in which a large number of individual macromolecules are linked to form a three-dimensional network.

PPG-35/PPG-51 glyceryl ether/IPDI crosspolymer is used in cosmetic formulations. The substance mixture acts as a plasticizer and skin care product.
