Phenoxyethylparaben (inci)

Phenoxyethylparaben is used in cosmetic formulations as an antimicrobial agent (helps to inhibit the growth of microorganisms on the skin) and as a preservative. (The framework conditions for preservatives that may be used in cosmetics are defined in the EC Cosmetics Regulation - 1223/2009 - Annex V).
