Keratin amino acids (inci)

Keratin amino acids in the cosmetic field are amino acids which can be extracted from keratin (sheep wool) by appropriate procedures. Keratin amino acids are used in cosmetic formulations.

The extract acts as an antistatic agent (reduces static charges by neutralizing the electric charge on the surface of e.g. hair), hair conditioning agent (makes the hair easy to comb, smooth, soft and shiny and gives it volume) and skin care product.

The amino acid extract is used in various cosmetic and care products such as shampoos, conditioning agents, body lotions, cleansers, mascara or lipstick.
