Citrus junos "yuzu"

Citrus junos "Yuzu" is also known as Japanese lemon or Meyer's lemon. Citrus junos "Yuzu" is an evergreen, thorny, slow-growing plant that reaches a height of about 3.00m. Its original area of distribution is Japan. The fruits of Citrus junos "Yuzu" resemble a lemon on the outside. However, their orange-yellow skin is considerably thicker than that of the lemons. The fruits are easy to peel. They are extremely aromatic, sour, similar to a lemon, with flavour components of tangerine, lime and grapefruit.

Citrus junos oil (INCI) is used for cosmetic purposes.
