Ambulatory venous hypertension is a variable dynamic hypertension in the area of the venous system of the lower extremity.
Aetiopathogenetically, it is a disorder of venous micro- and macrocirculation by reflux in case of valve insufficiency of the subfascial, transfascial and/or epifascial veins and/or a flow disorder due to obstruction of the outflow by obstruction.
Ultimately, untreated and thus chronic ambulatory hypertension leads to the clinical picture of chronic venous insufficiency.
