Herbaceous plant up to 15 cm high, a member of the cruciferous family, with red, roundish storage tubers up to 4 cm thick with white pith between the root and leaf base and white to purple flowers. Both the tubers (radishes) and the leaves are edible. Radishes belong to the radishfamily. Flowering time: May-July, fruit ripening: July to August.
Use as food, no phytotherapeutic use.
