The essential oils contained in carrots are effective against gram-positive bacteria, in particular Staphylococus aureus. Hence the effect on enteritis caused by Staph. aureus.
Peel 500g carrots, chop in a blender, then boil down with water (30-45 min.) until the total mass has reached a volume of about 200ml.
