Siberian-Eastern European, poisonous steppe plant, belongs to the buttercups. Occurs in Germany under nature protection in the river basins of the Vistula, Oder, Main and Rhine. The plant grows 10 to 40 cm high, 4 to 7 cm large flower with 10 to 20 lemon yellow petals. In the center of the flower you can see the numerous stamens arranged in a tight circle around the ovary, reminiscent of an eye. Flowering time April/May (spring).
