(¤ 3.7.1899, † 1987) Dermatologist. Pierini was born in Montecassiano in the province of Arcona/Italy. He studied medicine at the University of Buenos Aires. There also dermatological training under Francisco J Muñez. From 1943 to 1949 he was head of the dermatology department at the Italian Hospital in Buenos Aires, and later at the Guillermo Rawson Hospital. In 1936, together with D. Vivoli, he published a pioneering contribution on Atrophodermia idiopathica et progressiva (Pasini), a disease pattern that bears his name together with Agostino Pasini.
