He interned with Darier and Brocq in Paris, with Unna in Hamburg and Jadassohn in Breslau. 1923 First publication of the clinical picture of atrophodermia idiopathica et progressiva named after Pasini-Pierini.

1924 Appointed professor of dermatology and full professor at the newly founded dermatological university clinic of Milan.

1928 First publication of the clinical picture of epidermolysis bullosa dystrophica albopapuloida.
