(¤ 1831, † 1891) Dermatologist. Studied medicine at the University of Graz. In 1859 field-medical activity during the Italian campaign, 1864 habilitation for "venereal diseases", 1864 primary physician at the newly founded Department of Dermatology and Syhpilis in Graz, 1873 associate professor. 1888 co-founder of the German Dermatological Society, 1889 full professor in Graz. In 1891 Lipp dies from the consequences of an esophageal carcinoma. His successor at the Dermatological Clinic in Graz was Adolf Jarisch.
