(¤ 1920, † 1984) Dermatologist. Ferdinando Gianotti received his dermatological training with Agostino Crosti in Milan. His clinical and scientific focus was pediatric dermatology. His major discovery was acrodermatitis papulosa eruptiva infantilis, which is known as Gianotti-Crosti syndrome. In 1971 he described benign cephalic histiocytosis in collaboration with R. Caputo.
