Eucerinum cum aqua® is a water-containing wool wax alcohol ointment which belongs to the vehicle type of lipophilic creams (W/O creams). In this W/O formulation the wool wax alcohols used were purified by a special process. The starting point is Eucerinum anhydricum® (identical with the wool wax alcohol ointment DAB) which was mixed with water. Eucerinum cum aqua® consists of 50% water and can be mixed with another 50%. According to the NRF, such non-preserved lipophilic creams can only be kept for about 4 weeks in a dispenser box or tube.
