(¤ 1834, † 1918) Dermatologist, working in Bonn. 1863 Habilitation for surgery and ophthalmology. He gave lectures on syphilis in the context of surgical lectures. 1869 Appointment as full professor. In 1879 his activities led to the opening of his own "Polyclinic for Syphilitic and Skin Diseases". 1882 Foundation of an independent clinic for 82 skin patients. 1894 Appointment as full honorary professor (but not full professor) for dermatology. In 1889 Doutrelepont founded the German Dermatological Society together with Filipp Josef Pick, Moriz Kaposi, Edmund Lesser and Albert Neisser. From the school of Doutrelepont came the first independent representative of dermatology in Rostock, Maximilian Wolters, and the founder of the Bochum Dermatological Clinic, Hermann Fabry. Doutrelepont retired from his offices in 1910 at the age of 76. His successor became Erich Hoffmann.
