2 times/day 125-500 mg p.o. or 2 times/day 100-200 mg i.v., double to triple dose for complicated infections.

Acute gonorrhea: 500 mg p.o. or 200 mg i.v. as ED.

For otitis media: drench gauze strips in ear with 0.2% infusion solution every 4 hr, change strips after 3 days, total duration of therapy 7 days.

0.3% in eye drops for blepharitis, blepharoconjunctivitis apply 1 trp. into each conjunctival sac every 2 hrs for 2 days, then 1 trp. 4 times/day.
