Discharge of lymph fluid from the tissue. The lymphatic fluid empties as a clear liquid and can continue to flow continuously for hours and days if the vessel pressure is high.

Lymphorrhoea is often caused by lymph cysts, small lymphatic vessels that are under high pressure and thus dilate. If these open (spontaneously or after mechanical stimulation), they are called lymph fistulas.
