Sea silt is a purely natural product, a salty sea mud that is formed by the settling of suspended particles in estuaries. Sea silt is particularly rich in organic mudflat components, trace elements, sulphur, salts and minerals.
Sea silt belongs to the peloids, which are used in medicine and naturopathic medicine, e.g. as mud baths, fango or silt packs, poultices or healing clay, usually in a warmed state.
