Oil obtained from rapeseed, the third most consumed edible oil in the world.
Rapeseed oil is rich in unsaturated fatty acids, especially polyunsaturated fatty acids.

In the chemical and pharmaceutical industry for the production of paints, bioplastics, cold foam, plasticizers, surfactants and biogenic lubricants. Formerly also used for oil lamps.
