"Potassium" means the element potassium, "cocoyl" the fatty acid component, fatty acids from coconut oil (Cocos Nucifera Oil), "hydrolyzed corn protein", hydrolyzed proteins on the basis of corn or corn oil.
Potassium cocoyl hydrolyzed corn protein is used in cosmetic formulations. The substance acts as a hair conditioning agent (makes the hair easy to comb, smooth, soft and shiny and gives it volume) and as a skin care product (keeps the skin in good condition). It also has a skin cleansing effect.
