Lady's mantle (Alchemilla vulgaris) is a herb that belongs to the Rosaceae family and grows up to 30 - 50 cm tall. It grows in Europe, North America and Asia, mainly in damp meadows and sparse forests. The roundish leaves consist of 7-11 lobes and have notched to toothed edges. Alchemilla vulgaris produces small, inconspicuous flowers that are yellowish-green in color and arranged in clustered inflorescences. Alchemilla vulgaris flowers from May to September.
The dried aerial parts of the plant are used phytotherapeutically: leaves, flowers and stems (lady's mantle herb - Alchemillae herba).
