Implementation:

  • Dry and heat fix preparations
  • Cover with carbolic fox solution
  • Heat the slides with a Bunsen flame from below until steam is formed ( do not boil!)
  • let cool down
  • Repeat heating and cooling 2x
  • Rinsing with water
  • Decolorize with HCL alcohol until no more color clouds come off
