(¤ 1860,  1960) Doctor and internist, working in Gießen, Münster, Würzburg. Together with the surgeon Poppert, Sticker was the first scientist in Gießen to hold a dermatological lecture there. He was the first to describe the erythema infectiosum in 1899. He was later full professor for the history of medicine in Würzburg.
