(¤ 1880, † 1956) Born in Algiers, he completed his schooling and medical studies there. Dermatological training in Paris under Lucien Jacquet and Landouzy. 1925 appointed head of a dermatological department at the Hôpital Broca. Since 1928 he has been working at the Hôpital Saint Louis. In 1927 he became associate professor for skin and venereal diseases and two years later he was appointed Chef de Service des Hôpitaux Broca and Saint-Louis. In 1942 Sézary was appointed "Professor honoraire".

Field(s) of research: In 1921, he introduced the combination of arsenic and bismuth for the treatment of syphilis. He also proposed pentavalent arsenic as a treatment for the general paresis of the mentally ill.

Other research areas: Neurosyphilis. Sézary syndrome (malignant, reticulämic erythroderma from the group of cutaneous T-cell lymphomas). 1938 together with Y.
