(¤ 5.11.1889, † 1958) Senear was born in Salamancaim, State New York, USA. He studied medicine and passed the state examination (1914) at the University of Michigan. There he also trained as a dermatological specialist. Further dermatological training at the University of Illinois where he was also appointed director of the dermatological clinic. With the eponym "Senear-Usher-Syndrome" the " Pemphigus erythematosus" was documented, a disease pattern which F. Senear together with B. Usher described in 1926.
