  • (¤ 1908, † 1962) Dermatologist, working in Würzburg, Bonn Schuermann was born on 4.5.1908 in Essen as the son of a mining officer. 1926 A-levels in Essen. Studied medicine at the universities of Freiburg, Rostock and Düsseldorf. 1932 State examination in Düsseldorf. First dermatological training in Rostock under W. Frieboes, whom he followed to the University of Berlin. 1938 Habilitation in Berlin with the topic "Dermatomyositis".
