Itch-killing, hydrophilic, anionic cream (O/W cream) for external use For itchy dermatitis and anal pruritus for local anaesthesia and simultaneous cooling, deswelling and drying, especially in case of seborrhoea. Apply 2-3 times/day to the affected areas.

Remark: Ungt. emulsif. aq. can be replaced by other fat-rich bases. The NRF monographs 2 standardised formulations with lauromacrogol 400 in a hydrophobic base, NRF 11.119. and NRF 11.120. The standardised formulations contain a low water base. The hydrophilic portion is only 20 % (10 % water and 10 % propylene glycol) instead of 70 % as in the hydrophobic base cream DAC.
