(¤ 1869, † 1932) Matzenauer was born on 29.4.1869 in Vienna. He also received his school education there. Studies at the University of Vienna. In 1894 doctorate. 1896 assistant to Isidor Neumann in Vienna, 1900 works on the impetigo contagiosa, 1902 habilitation. In 1903 his textbook of venereal diseases was published in 2 volumes. In 1907 he succeeded Karl Kreibich as director of the University Dermatology Clinic in Graz. In 1912 he was appointed full professor and died of heart disease in 1932.
