(¤ 1820, † 1883) Pediatrician, working in Prague. Born in Lviv, the then capital of Austrian Galicia. Began medical studies in Lviv, continued in Prague. 1843 dissertation, worked as a court and prison doctor for 20 years. 1863 habilitation. Later he was appointed head of the Prague "Foundling Hospital". 1865 appointed full professor of paediatrics.
