(¤ 1847, † 1902) Dermatologist. Born on 24.5.1847 as son of Ferdinand v. Hebra. Doctorate in 1870. Habilitation in his father's clinic. 1896 appointed professor and elected primarius in the skin department of the now defunct Wiedner Hospital in Vienna. Field(s) of research: Eczema marginatum Hebra (former name of Tinea inguinalis); autoimmune diseases; lichen ruber (lichen planus), erythema multiforme. Wilhelm v.Hebra, his son was sentenced to death by the National Socialists as a "high traitor" in Berlin in 1943 and executed in Munich Stadelheim in 1944.
