(¤ 19o5, † 1997) Leon Goldman was born on 7 December 1905 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Studied medicine at the University of Cincinnati; graduated in 1929. Dermatological training at the local skin clinic. In 1932, he went to Zurich to study dermatology with Bruno Bloch and to the Guy's Hospital in London. The following year he returned to the Dermatology Department in Cincinnati. 1937 Specialist examination in dermatology and venerology. 1947 Appointed Director of the Dermatology Department in Cincinnati.
