(¤ 1856, † 1939) Dermatologist, born on 8.7.1856 in Prague; studied medicine there; 1878 doctorate in Vienna; assistants to Hebra, Sigmund, Zeissl and Neumann Habilitation with Isidor Neumann 1883. 1894 appointment as professor. 1904 professor in succession to Neumann. From 1904-1927 Finger was chairman of the II. university clinic for skin and venereal diseases, 1906-1919 president of the Vienna Medical Association, 1925-1931 president of the Supreme Medical Council. Finger expanded gonorrhoea teachings and created his own treatment centers for venereal diseases.
