(¤ 1895,  1977) Dermatologist, working in Düsseldorf, Tübingen. Wilhelm Engelhardt was an employee of the Gießen Skin Clinic and habilitated there under Albert Jesionek. His clinical and scientific interest was mainly focused on mycology and occupational dermatoses. In 1936, as a member of the NSDAP at the University Dermatology Clinic in Tübingen, he succeeded Paul Linser, who had been removed from office by the National Socialists. Engelhardt was director of this clinic until 1945.
