(¤ 1909, † 1970) Dermatologist, working in Bern. Raised in Winterthur/Switzerland, he joined the dermatological University Dermatology Clinic of the University of Bern under Oskar Naegeli after his medical studies. There he became a senior physician and in 1940 he habilitated on the subject of "phytophoto-dermatitis", in which he presented the photosensitizing effect of furanocoumarins for the first time. By the election of Paul-Ernest Robert as successor of O. Naegeli, he temporarily changed to the practice. After the early death of P.E. Robert, he succeeded him in 1953. His scientific focus was on the broad field of general dermatology and mycoses. In 1970 Hans Kuske died of a heart disease. His successor in Bern was Alfred Krebs.
