CD128 (CD stands for "cluster of differentiation"), also known as CXCR1 (CXC motif chemokine receptor 1) or interleukin-8 receptor alpha (IL-8RA), is a protein receptor that is expressed on the surface of neutrophil granulocytes and macrophages.

Cytokines such as interleukin-8 and CXCL6 (GCP-2) bind to the receptor protein. This binding activates an intracellular signal transduction cascade, which leads to an increase in the intracellular calcium concentration and in which G proteins and MAP kinases, among others, are involved.

Interleukin-8 itself plays an important role in the initiation and maintenance of inflammatory and tumorous diseases.
