(¤ 1879, † 1944) Dermatologist. Bruck was born in Glatz/ Schlesein. Studied medicine in Berlin and Munich. 1902 examination. 1902 - 1906 Assistant to R. Koch in Berlin. 1908 senior physician at the Dermatological Clinic in Breslau. 1909 habilitation. 1911 appointed professor. 1914 Chief physician at the Dermatological Clinic in Altona. Together with Albert Neisser and August von Wassermann, Bruck is considered the founder of the serodiagnosis of syphilis.
