• Name for the M. Addison with no or only little pigmentation. Occurs in very fair-skinned people with a lack of stimulation of the melanocytes.
• Designation for secondary and tertiary forms of hypocortisolism (insufficiency of the anterior pituitary gland or hypothalamus), with reduced ACTH and thus also reduced MSH secretion and consequently pale, pigment-free, waxy skin.

Fatigue, hypotension, weight loss, decrease in performance, increase in skin pigmentation, dehydration and electrolyte imbalances (hyperkalemia, hyponatremia, hypercalcemia), gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, diarrhea), hypoglycemia, eosinophilia.
