VP/VA copolymers(copolymers are polymers composed of 2 different monomer units) composed of the polymers (poly-)vinylpyrrolidone (VP) and (poly-)vinyl acetate (VA). VP/VA copolymers belong to the group of film-forming substances, binders and hair-fixing polymers and are used, among other things, in hair styling products due to these (physical) properties.
Furthermore, the copolymer ensures the cohesion of cosmetic preparations containing powders and powders. When applied, it forms a coherent film on skin, hair or nails and thus enables the shaping of hairstyles.
