Robinia pseudoacacia extract is the flower extract from the white robinia, also called black sham acacia or false robinia, a plant native to eastern North America. In Europe it is used as an ornamental tree.

Robinia pseudoacacia extract is used in cosmetic formulations. The extract contains the flavone glycosides acaciin and robinin. Furthermore indole, essential oil with farnesol, nerol, terpineol, linalool and anthranilic acid methyl ester. The flower extract has a skin-caring effect and strengthens skin or hair.
